The importance of privacy settings in many social sites.

When I first registered with Myspace, I did not know so much about its security settings, Many social sites have these settings, and they are meant to provide security to the user as he connects and shares online. It was not until my boss mentioned about the comments I was making on my friend's status updates that I thought about these security settings. I went to the settings section from Myspace home page but I did not know how to manipulate the settings so that those who were not my friends in the site were not going to view my comments. 'why cant i hide my comments on myspace?', I presented my inquiry to the Myspace help page. It did not take them long to provide me with the answer I was looking for. I changed my settings and since then, my boss has never mentioned my comments or my updates again. Privacy settings are very good when one wants to share with just a few. They will keep away malicious people in the internet from you.
