When Pete passed away, Elisa was devastated. She could not accept that the only man she has loved for nearly thirty years is no longer around. Pete is gone for good. He had a massive heart attack that claimed his life in an instant. He left behind his family that includes his wife, Elisa, his daughter, Rose and son, Giovanni. No one was prepared for it so each one is struggling to cope with their loss. But among everyone, it seems that Elis is the most affected. One day in a supermarket, Elisa bumped into Arnold, a sport psychologist who is a very good friend of Pete. He was away for far too long and he had no idea about what happened to Pete. When Elisa told him, he was shocked. He felt so guilty because he was not around when the incident happened. In his effort to make up for his absence, he offered Elisa money. Elisa did not want to accept it, but Arnold insisted saying that it is the least he can do for his dear friend. Elisa was thankful. |

There is no doubt in my mind that Peter is the one for me. I want to marry him and I want him to be the father of my children. I feel like I am the luckiest woman on earth because he chose me to be his partner - his life companion. When we celebrated our fifth year as a couple, I asked him why he chose me when he could have any girl he wanted - someone more beautiful and someone deserving of him. Peter told me, I chose you because you make me happy. You make me want to become a better person. I chose you because you are my friend and I love you. Any woman who would hear these words from her partner would be so overwhelmed with joy. In a few days, Peter and I will tie the knot. His dad, who is among the more popular sport psychologists on TV will be around to support us. It's just unfortunate that his mom won't make it to the wedding because she's been sick lately. |

One of my favorite things to do is to walk around a city and capture candid moments with my camera. You know the moment I’m talking about. The precise moment in which the story is captured through the lens and the photograph speaks for itself. I can see the merits of more conventional photography - the portrait photographer who photographs the family, or the wedding photographer who photos the newly married couple, but candid shots have a certain honesty about them. There is nothing more disappointing than clicking too soon or too late. Once the moment has passed, there is no turning back. Attempting to do so only makes it inauthentic and posed. I have worked hard to make sure that I give myself the best opportunities to capture the moment when it presents itself. Here are some suggested ways in which to improve the chances of capturing the moment:
* Be prepared. This means making sure your camera is ready. If you have a film camera, make sure your film is advanced and you have extra rolls to spare. Make sure your battery is fully charged. If you have a digital camera, your battery should be fully charged and you should have plenty of space on your memory card. Bring an extra battery and memory card if you know you are going to take a lot of photographs. Take a couple of practice shots to make sure your equipment is functioning properly. Have your camera in hand. I know it can be uncomfortable to look like a tourist in your hometown with a camera hanging from your neck, but as your fumbling through your camera bag, your moment is slipping away.
* Look at everything. Easier said than done, right? Moments are all around us and it can be difficult to see them. We often tend to look at the obvious. Try to look beyond. Listen to the sounds and take the time to observe your surroundings. I often use my senses to absorb myself further into my environment. Ask yourself these questions about your environment: What does it look like? What does it feel like? What does it smell like? What does it sound like?
* Enjoy the process. Have fun experimenting and taking chances with the camera. Your best shots will happen when you least expected them to. Let go. Release you inhibitions. Don’t be afraid to experiment with the camera and take chances. Ultimately, there is a balance between being prepared to take a photograph at any given time, being aware of your surroundings and looking at the details of your environment, and relaxing and having fun with the process of catching that candid moment. |

I am engaged to a man who is specializing in the psychology of sports. I am a business person and I like facts not like him. He is always in to details and that is what makes him who he is. When I introduced him to my sister she bluntly asked him what is sports psychology. She does not like psychologists at all because she believes that they tend to notice stuff that is supposed to be secret. He tells her that sports psychologists deal with people who are interested in sports. These people need to be motivated and helped become even better athletes. So what my sister did was to test him. Told him my niece refuses to play soft ball because she did not think she was not good enough. The girl has a very strong arm and my sister made my fiance have a chat with my niece. He took her to a soft ball pitch and he coaxed her in to teaching him how to throw a softball. As she was teaching him, she realized that she did not give herself any credit at all. |

Anxiety is my biggest enemy. I am on the volleyball team and my coach and team mates say I am really good. I believe them for a minute and then when I go to the pitch I do not feel as confident as I was feeling before. The first days I was even having nervous break downs that never made sense. The coach could not bench me because I was too valuable for the team. My team mates needed me and they came up with a plan to help me out. They told the coach to use a sport psychologist. They did not except the coach not to know what is sports psychology. So the psychologist who was found worked really hard. There was an important game in a month and they wanted me fixed by them. So she looked for something that would help me calm my nerves. One time she noticed that every time I got nervous I wore a hand band that belonged to my late baby sister. She asked me to wear it during a friendly game and I did not fret even one time. |

Nail guns are used nowadays in modern carpentry as the means to drive nails. The use of hammer is reduced with the nail guns. This device has two different classifications namely the electric and pneumatic nail gun. In this blog, the pros of using electric nail guns are stated here.
The electric type of nail gun has the advantage about the weight. This nail gun is lighter in comparison to the pneumatic type. This nail gun is cordless, so you can bring it all along. The nail gun operates in a silent mode unlike pneumatic that needs air compressor making it very noisy. One drawback is the price of one electric nail gun, but the cost of operation and maintenance outweighs the original purchasing cost. In other words, the continued use of pneumatic nail gun will become expensive unlike the other type. No air compressor, no oil for lubrication – these what makes electric nail gun practical to use over the pneumatic nail gun. |

The feel of the approaching Christmas must be both exciting and challenging to most of us. It seems like a task and tradition to always make sure there is even a single thing related to Christmas decorating our home. Isn’t it a better plan to bring the holiday atmosphere not just inside but also outside the house? So, maybe it’s time to think of outdoor Christmas ideas to restyle the spaces outside your home.
It is best to start decorating your porch and make it the focus of everything you’ll put outside. Snowy designs (even though you don’t live in snow) create a pretty sight with some bells and bows of red and green. You may also want to turn your front door into something festive using lighted garlands and wreaths in metallic colors, gold or silver. You can create a little snowman or Christmas tree for added attraction. Whatever idea you come up with, the important thing is you enjoy decorating with your family and the outcome makes others feel the cheerful season as well. |
