I Wore Adidas Trainers to the Wedding

Being an avid marathon runner - as my husband-to-be was too - we decided to go in full wedding attire to our wedding - but with one difference - we'd both wear trainers instead of traditional wedding shoes. Some of our guests turned up in athletics vests (complete with numbers), and all of us ran from the church to the wedding receiption about a mile from the church. It was a lot of fun and I guess we looked really weird to onlookers!
The wedding reception was rather typical though - we weren't on our best behaviour and we all got very merry and enjoyed ourselves.
Our honeymoon? We went to Hawaii to compete in an ironman triathlon of course! We met another couple out there who were also on their honeymoon - and they were competing in the same event as us - so we're not alone in our love of fitness.
