Keep Your Necklaces Pretty & Tangle-free with A Jewelry Tree

posted on 23 January 2012

Necklaces are favorite kinds of jewelry! It’s amazing what a necklace can do to make you look better. A small, sparkly necklace can draw attention to your gorgeous collarbone, while a long, elegant one accentuates your torso, and can even make it look longer and slimmer. It’s no wonder necklaces are so timeless and popular! The one thing I dislike about necklaces is that they tend to become tangled and knotted. This is especially true if you have a large collection of necklaces, and you fail to keep them in an organized manner. One way to keep your pretty necklaces from tangling is to keep them on jewelry trees! This type of jewelry organizer keeps your necklaces dangling, instead of keeping them clumped together. By using a jewelry tree, you will not keep your necklaces free from tangling and forming knots, you can also be display your necklaces in a very stylish way!

My Favorite Black Flat Shoes

posted on 22 December 2011

My very favorite pair of shoes are a black, polka dotted, flat shoe. They are so comfortable and stylish at the same time. They are everything that I want and need in a shoe. I wear them all of the time. I have a hard time wearing high heels because they hurt me feet so I tend to go for the more comfortable choices. Sometimes it is hard for me to find cute shoes that are comfortable, but these do the trick. They have small white, polka dots all over them and look very cute. I get compliments on them all of the time wherever I go. I can wear them to work and when I go out in the evening. They are not a brand name, so they were affordable. I have had them for about two years and they are still comfortable and look like new to this day.

The Well Loved and Well Used Handbag

posted on 20 December 2011

The right handbag is like a comfortable pair of shoes, a broken in pair of jeans or friend who has withstood the test of time. I have found that my favorite ones are a color that is easy to spot and enough room to hold my essentials but not so big it becomes a black hole. I had one shoulder bag that was a particular favorite because it fit next to my body with exactly enough room under my arm. It was a soft leather (my bad) and had a velour like light colored lining and double shoulder straps. I miss that bag. It seems lightweight no matter what I stuffed into it. No clutch bag I have owned before or after it matched it in quality or design. I hated to part with it and searched for one just like it to take its place, to no avail. I guess I just have to be satisfied with one that just holds my junk, but does not please. Sigh.

Find classic children's shoes

posted on 9 September 2011

There are a few factors that must be considered when selecting children’s shoes. In particular, great care must be taken every time when selecting shoes for the young ones because of their weak body nature and the need for proper development of their week feet. Buying children’s shoes actually becomes regular tasks for most parents as most children outgrow their shoes quickly. Some children especially young girls outgrow their shoes in less than half a years because they grow and develop faster. When purchasing children’s shoes, you should select tight fitting or poor fitting shoes. Children’s feet are not fully developed and still need to grow. Therefore buying tight or poor fitting shoes will interfere with the normal growth and development of their feet. Poor fitting shoes are also no comfortable and may make the feet of the child take the shape of the shoes. This could lead to other unhealthy conditions affecting the child’s normal growth and development. In addition, poor fitting shoes are also the leading cause of foot pains. When selecting children’s shoes, parents should check that they don't cause deformities to the child’s feet. Special attention is needed when buying children’s shoes. This is done to ensure that the likely deformities and other problems that could happen to the child are preventing early enough. This is because their feet are not fully developed and still needs to grow. Select childrens shoes that are light weight, not hard and are made of soft flat soles. This greatly ensures proper development of the children feet.

I Wore Adidas Trainers to the Wedding

posted on 16 January 2011

Being an avid marathon runner - as my husband-to-be was too - we decided to go in full wedding attire to our wedding - but with one difference - we'd both wear trainers instead of traditional wedding shoes. Some of our guests turned up in athletics vests (complete with numbers), and all of us ran from the church to the wedding receiption about a mile from the church. It was a lot of fun and I guess we looked really weird to onlookers! The wedding reception was rather typical though - we weren't on our best behaviour and we all got very merry and enjoyed ourselves. Our honeymoon? We went to Hawaii to compete in an ironman triathlon of course! We met another couple out there who were also on their honeymoon - and they were competing in the same event as us - so we're not alone in our love of fitness.
